I sawr a sharak yetsturday at Ol' Manns. It was HUGE with BIG teeth AND fINS!
Seriously folks! I don't want to mess around too much since there is a particular danger to the sport of Surfboard Fishing. Just north at Churches, a girl got torn-up and forever maimed by a GWS a few years back. I have seen them (GWSs) regularly come up to me to check me out, then scurry away when they realize I am not prey. The bigger ones are not afraid, however, and they will predate anything they can overpower.
Well, I caught a nice size halibut after my shark encounter, and folks in the lineup were amazed, as usual, but I am teetering on the edge, for most of my existence, in the water, and out. It is exciting, but, one day my day will come. Till' then....FO!
